Hi, I’m Pete Moon, the founder of Skrybe Ltd, a publishing company dedicated to creating and reviving great books. I publish under my own name, my pen name Ashley Tobin, and the Skrybe Trademark, which focuses on public domain children’s fiction and low to medium content books.

My journey into publishing has been anything but straightforward. After earning a Media Degree from Cardiff University, I went on to study at Bible College, where I gave it my best shot —until I realized that congregations were more likely to remember my bad jokes than my sermons. So, I retrained as a plumber and kitchen fitter, started my own business, and later built a multi-million dollar e-commerce brand, Moonster Handmade Leather, selling in 10 marketplaces worldwide.

Now, I’m channeling my entrepreneurial spirit into publishing, property investment, and running a storage franchise. Along the way, I wrote the book, Startup Mindset, to help other entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of building a business from scratch.

SKRYBE is my way of sharing my passion for books. Whether it’s republishing timeless children’s fiction, crafting unique low-content books, or writing to inspire and equip others, I’m always exploring new ideas.
